Crazy chicken lady!

I'm in North Florida. My land Lord and I have begun building up our chicken coop with breed variety! Bought my first silkie a few months back, a roo named Frank (for Frank Sinatra)! He began crowing a week ago so I bought him what I hope is a lady friend. I wanted to join to pick the minds of my fellow chicken lovers!

Silkies are very difficult to sex even for breeders. Usually can't tell before 4-5 mos. and sometimes not till they crow or lay. You may also want to check out the "Silkie thread," to learn more about this breed.
