I have a speckled sussex that is 8 months old. She has been in with an older pullet, 2 of her sisters (same age same breed) and a 2 year old Brahma Rooster since she was 3 months old. The rooster left them alone until they were about 7 months old and then he started mating with them. They weren't sure what to think of this but two of them got used to it and are doing fine but the one, is still scared to death and would spend her whole day hiding in the nesting box. So I decided to move her in with some chicks that are about 3 months old. The first day she seemed fine, came out spent the day out of the coop, didn't really have any friends but didn't seem to have any enemys either. Yesterday I notice, she is now chasing the 3 month olds around the yard. What is up with this crazy chicken, any advice? She just doesn't seem happy no matter where I put her.
