We had a VERY late christmas gift giving with my sister and our friend. Due to some scheduling difficulties, our Christmas tea party ended up happening in February. My sister got my a chicken keepsake album that I am currently filling out and deciding on the pictures I want to add.

Where does the time go? Chickens sure do grow fast. It seems like only yesterday, that Franny was sitting on a clutch and now the baby is growing their adult feathers. I sent a pic to the person that I got the eggs from and she thinks that the new baby is a male. Personally I would have preferred a hen, but I am ok with a rooster as well. This will give me a chance to add new egg colors to my collection.

Yes, ...I sometime wish they just slow down a bit so that I have more time to rub their cuties on my face. I love the sound of baby chicks, those big eyes and when they flap their tiny tiny wings....so very adorable.
