Crazy fun things to do with your chickens

Thats awesome! Ive done the seen the same things when I feed them the scraps... Do u play any other games with your chickens? Do u know anyone who puts diapers on their chickens?

There are lots of people here who put diapers on their chickens. In the Buy, Sell, Trade "other" section you can even find chicken diapers for sale! We've been thinking about getting some. I don't know that we really have games we play with our chickens, but we go outside and sit with them and feed them, and we hold them. One of ours likes to get in the wading pool for our ducks. Our chicks we take outside and give them worms or other treats.

I am getting my chickens in 2 days but I have MANY friends who have them and they do these things with them

Train them (any way you want to do what you want)

Buy a collar and leash and walk them (yes, it is safe, but don't treat them like a dog and yank them around. Let them go where they want)

Chicken races ( make a track and race with your friends and your other chickens to see who is the fastest)

Groom them (brush them and make them all pretty)

Spend time with them and play with them

I took my hen in the car on a 2 hour ride once and it was so much fun.
I take my flock (6 small chickens) to my lake house 1 and a half hours away and it's always a great time.

Or having a picnic in the garden whilst the chickens are free ranging! Was hilarious after I accepted I was going to have to share my potatoes!

I always love giving them mash too, they can get in a right mess with it.

how about lazer tag

you have to point a lazer or a torch at the ground and they dont stop pecking it and chasing it, once i pointed it on to a chickens back and the others where chasing her

Well, tech them how to eat out of your hand, then have them jump for treats. Have something you call them when you give them food--like "Chooks! chooks! and each time you say that, they will come running up to you.
