My pullets gave me several double yolkers and a triple yolker that was over 4 ozs.

Okay, here it is...... (drum roll...........)

It's hard to tell from the picture, but there seems to be an enormous amount of white. I really was hoping for a triple!

It's not a true breed. It is a production cross. I believe they cross RIR and white Leghorns and breed for high egg production. It is what my local farm store sells as started pullets. I don't know much about them because I am new to chickens. I have 5 of them, and 6 days out of 7 I usually get 5 eggs a day. They have slowed way down on the double yolkers, which I am thankful for because I was afraid they would die from them. The triple looked like a goose egg. It looked painful.

My chickens have never laid a triple-yolker before. Someday I'll see one...someday...
