Exactly! I doubt they’d be easy to catch. Maybe one of those hav-a-hart type traps rather than a leash but I bet the dogs are too smart for that.

Hav-a-hart for a dog? Maybe if it was a little dog, but then I wouldn't be so worried about a little dog killing livestock.

Idk if it would work or not but I think I’ve seen them use them before. They have larger sized ones for like coyotes and stuff that would probably work.

trap the dogs and douse them in skunk odor or fox urine.
then release.
Of course....you don't want to talk about that in public. Gunt toting people of his caliber are dangerous when they feel their rights tread upon.
Slowly build up the fenceline around the animals.
Electric fencing is magic! The les wire there is on a unit, the bigger the oompf it packs (I know this from personal experience, backing into a fido shock unit with only 100 feet attached to it, in a low spot after a good rain.
My leg felt funny for a while after!)
In your case, I'd get a small livestock unit from the food store.
