Crazy Hens

I have two young hens and before I got them I would have called you crazy if someone would have told me how much time I would spend just watching them. They are so entertaining! Today I noticed that they were chasing all the wild birds out of the yard. They had me laughing like a fool! They ran off four robins an a group of doves. My barred rock would put her head straight out, fluff her wings a run straight at them and my Black star was right behind her. Do all chickens do that, or just my two crazy ladies?

I call it chicken tv!
Mine completely ignore the wild birds. They don't get let out every day, so they're still exploring their surroundings and stuffing themselves with grass when they do.

I bought a porch swing to set up out by the pen. I spend hours just watching them. So relaxing. I love it when they all put themselves to bed in the coop at the same time!!!
