Crazy neighbor stealing my chickens and my eggs

wonder if they’re on America’s most wanted list or something. There’s something really eerie about this. Be careful.

I have had a person steal eggs and my egg money from my change cookie jar. I have security cameras as well as game cameras in several places on my property. I have had the security cameras for a long time. We have a sign next to the egg cooler warning of the security cameras. Apparently our thief didn't read the sign. For the first visit from our thief, the HD died on the DVR so I bought another one to replace it, that is how we found out who the thief was and it was someone we know well. This person only know of one time that they were caught with their hand in the cookie jar. They spotted one of the game cameras when leaving and sent me a text msg about 5 minutes later, a little after 3am saying they were here looking for eggs. The cookie jar was empty that night. One night I took the bills out and just left some coin change in the jar and they took some of the coins, so the cameras are good at catching 2 legged thiefs as well as the 4 legged predators.

Luckily we have never had any crazy neighbors around here (*knock on wood*)

The only person who MIGHT come close to a TINY bit crazy around here is a man who has a couple misbehaving dogs. They have come onto our property several times but never near enough to notice our chickens. He is always yelling at them. We call him “old yeller”

No, they did some jail time and got probation. All of my cameras are still up and running. I use my game cameras in different places on my property so I see mostly 4 legged predators. In fact most nights I see 4 legged predators. Only a couple of times we've had a 2 legged predator/thief. I do video and this picture is a frame of the video.

This is a fox last night. This is not my best camera.

Holy crap. I’m sorry about the loss. I woulda called the police in secret so they wouldn’t have had time to run, or have gotten a pic of their plates. Reminds me of this one time a wannabe terrorist lived a block away from me and loaded his house with gas and illegsl fireworks. He was my friends next door neighbor, and she called the cops after and they found a TON of illegal explosives, gas, oil, and other stuff. The police got him and found out he was planning to burn down the neighborhood, but didn’t have the balls to do it. He’s in jail now, not sure for how long.
