Hey all, I have a good idea about this bird but wanted more expert opinons. I have a GL Polish Roo and hen that I had to put in a smaller pen cuz they were picked at like crazy. His tail was totally gone (thanx bi***es) and the hens tail and head poof got it. Now the Roo twists his head upside down when I give them anything. Is he nutted up (bored)which is my guess, trying to see under all those feathers or is it something else? He's healthy otherwise and his tail is finally back. I just don't know forsure what's going on with him.

Polish have a hard time seeing just about anything. From experience, when a crested bird wants to get a good look at something, they'll try to tighten up their head feathers and give a sideways glance to see better. Sounds like he just wants to get a good look at whatever you're giving him. I think it's less bordem, and more curiosity.
