Crazychicken's Free Egg Curse/Gift ! duck incubation info ?

All right the Curse/Gift worked again and I some how managed to come home with a presuming Muscovy duck egg.... and yet again I am stuck in the dark. I need some people to tell me what to do .... so what do I do BYC ? I have the Incubator plugged in and running my thermometer is either broken or messed up. but I have not messed with it since last incubation which was at 99.5 F. Do I spritz after day 7 or not ? what does humidity need to be ? Temperature ? I have time since it looks very fresh and was warm when I acquired it... I candled and it looks like a good egg. so how do I get this thing started ? will probably go to walmart tomorrow and get another therm/hydro, but info for now would be nice..... is starting to think he should not accept free eggs .

This is where I started....I don't know anything about spritzing or whatnot....are you supposed to spray them??? My humidity is on the high side of 60-70%....It's only been 24 hours and I can already see the spot growing!!!

Hi! I've hatched duck eggs in incubators here and didn't mist ever --- just used damp warm socks to keep humidity up. My L'ings might have been a fluke.

I have 4 Muscovys hatching right now beside me. I never misted them, just LOTS of humidity. And like 100.5 temp (im using a still air bator). I have sponges on all four sides of the eggs.

about how high should the humidity be ? my incubator can be either still or forced. . . . which works better ?
