Welcome to BYC. It sounds as if she is about to resume laying - they sometimes take a break from the process.

I too have a cream leg bar hen who is 9 months old and has yet to start laying. My other breeds have begun laying. This CLB is small and somewhat timid. She is the only hen and I have one rooster with them all..He's a CLB and is big and beautiful. How small are the hens supposed to be and how old should they be to start laying?
