Cream Legbar Comb

Yep, she's Legbar X (araucana X salmon faverolle)

She was 3/4 weeks younger in this pic:

Wow so hers got like 3x bigger! Ok well it definitely won’t be hard to notice when they’re close to lay with this breed!

Looks very similar to my Hoover's Hatchery "Olive Egger" (The cross I assume they are, from HH website: We also have another cross that is between Legbars and Welsummers, our goal with these is to create a green egg that is speckled similar to the Welsummers.) Which I'd love to get green Speckled eggs, for the sake of beauty. Lol.

Website shows adults having the floppy combs.

My two girls, Dawn & Syrup, have really started to red up this week but still have small combs. Just a hair older than yours at 15 weeks & 2+ days.

This might be the same bird, I think one is friendlier than the other, hopefully they let there personalities shine as they age so I can tell them apart. Pictures from 7/18 & 7/19. Day old picked up on 4/5/25.

They look just like mine and mine were hatched 4/9! I also think mine were Hoovers. Pretty sure that’s where my feed store gets them. I bought them as Welbars but they definitely aren’t that lol. I got sapphire olive Eggers from them too, same hatch day, but they’re black and grey. Let me know when yours start laying! And if you’re successful with green speckled; that sounds gorgeous!!

I call mine the afro girls lol
That is hilarious! I adore that.
I have a Egger- 13 weeks but was crossed with a white leghorn (I think, no idea). Olive egg, made a white chicken, tan highlights with greenish feet, muffs and beard (zero comb to be seen). But because they free range on all sorts of terrain, her cheeks and beard is always dirty, so we nicknamed her 'Dirty Santa'.
