Haha ok cool. I thought mine were the odd balls. On FB I saw a bunch that said they were cream legbars with way different colors too so I began to wonder about mine lol. Are yours good layers?

They aren't quite old enough yet but my last ones were.

So a Welbar is supposed to be a Welsummer mixed with Plymouth Barred Rock.

I'm willing to bet they mixed Welsummer with Legbars and are calling them "Welbars." This will most likely produce Olive colored eggs. I think this is what you got since yours has a crest.

Some hatcheries and breeders are calling Olive Eggers "Marsbars" which is Black Copper Marans mixed with Legbars.

Oh wow that’s pretty cool! I still have about 2 months till they lay so I guess we’ll see if they give blue or olive eggs. That’ll be the answer!
