Cream legbar show!! Ends December 31

@Hen Pen Jem she is very good to the other birds. I don't think I have seen her pick on anybody. She just likes to keep her distance from people. Once within about 6 feet of her she is looking for a way out. I guess I got the odd ball.:idunno With being a small frame of a bird its kind of a site to see when she has the big black orp roo mounting her. It puts a whole new meaning to squatting down. :lau

Oh, my rooster, a Rhode Island Red, does not know what to make of Mitzy and her sister Edwina Louisa. He keeps looking at the fluff of feathers on top of their heads, then, he grumbles and walks away. :idunno

I think he is wondering if they are boys or girls, as, I have never had crested birds in any of my flocks.

Perhaps when they get more mature, and Spring is in it's full glory, they'll catch his eye. :love LOL!!!

Hello everyone,
This is a cream legbar show all you have to do to enter is post a pic of the cream legbar you want to enter include name, age, breed, and sex.
Have fun.

I'll enter, too. We have 2 groups of production line CLBs - a quad & a trio; and a quad of Jill Rees CLBs. I'm looking to start incubating eggs in January & February - might be a little later in the spring depending on their laying. Right now the JR line isn't laying at all yet (younger) and the two other groups are free ranging together and I'm not finding their eggs, though I know they were laying earlier this fall (building another coop for them now and they'll stay in coop & run for a while). I got some pics of some of the birds yesterday in our back yard that turned out... & 1 from July...

From our "Purple Group" - Production line CLBs (trio)

And from our "Salmon Group" - Production line CLBs (quad - not sure how/why I got a blue tag on both a pullet & a cockerel, but that's ok. At least we knew from hatch/purchase that one was cockerel & other a pullet).
