CREAM LIGHT BROWN DUTCH BANTAMS

I have two and or three pair of Blue Cream Light Brown Dutch bantams. 10.00 for pair. These little guys come from very reputable show line/blood lines. However i can not guarantee show quality. These will be three months on the 19th of August. i also have a few two month olds as well. The cockerels are starting to get thier adult plumage and they are comming in nicely.

Any chance that you would sell hatching eggs? Really hard to find dutch bantams in my neck of the woods. Thanx,

Hi Tony,

If i could guarantee you would get a good hatch rate i would try. Its been my experience when i have shipped a very low hatch rate. in myopinion, really not worth it after the exspense of shipment and then 20 days in the incubator......thank you for the interest. Yes, these are hard to find ( pure Dutch) anywhere. I finally broke down a couple years back and had adult birds shipped to me and or drove out of state to get them. I wish the outcome would be btter, if so i would ship. Becuase they are not i do not ship.

Will anyone from your area be coming to the Ohio National? I am looking for a trio or quad of the CLB Dutch. I am in western Ohio, so the only other way to get any from you would be to have them shipped. Would you consider shipping a trio to me?

Does anyone have the"Golden Dutch Bantams", chicks for sale come spring. We live in N.Georgia, and have tryed for 2yrs., of finding these birds.

Almost no one breeds GOLDEN DUTCH any more. A pair does not breed true. They are a cross of Light Brown and Silver Dutch, that is bred to a formula. Females look identical to Silvers and you cannot know if you have a Golden female without breeding her according to the formula. And those Silver hens carry a red factor that ruins the Silver males they can produce with a bit of rust or smut on the back, wings and is not possible to totally breed out. The Cream Light Browns, that breed true and are a more golden color have replaced them with breeders of Dutch. When you find one Golden male==you will just have ONE, and the male only, until you have LBs, Silvers, to recreate each generation of the variety. Even in Holland, where the Goldens used.to be bred, now raise Cream Light Brown (Geelpartrijs) instead. Not to hard to find wonderful CLBs in the SE. Phoenix Bantams added CLB from he Dutch and still call their CLBs "Golden". but that is how they can breed true Golden in most lines of Phoenix.
