Crease in feathers...

One of our ducks has what looks like a crease in its feathers on its breastbone. A better description would be that someone took a comb and parted the feathers. You cant see skin, just a distinct, part line down its breast. Could this be a female duck?
 
A few of my runners have that cleavage. All mine are girls, but I don't think the crease is associated with gender. It's kind of like some people having a cleft in their chin, I think.
 
Oh, i was hoping it was the sign of a female getting ready to sit on eggs. Lol. Thanks for answering!
