I just wanted to share a crazy mouse trap that is working. I took a flower glass vase thaqt is curved at the neck, tied against the wiring and have caught several every night since. this winter I noticed mice dug tunnels under by chickens food and water. Saw them running around when I lifter water and food dishes. Gross. I have a live trap but never could catch them to small. I thought about it and took a flower vase that is curved at the neck. put a string across that with duct taped to secure and bungy corded it next to the food but leaning against chicken wire where they can climb to the mouth of the vase. I put peanut butter on the string. I was doing this hoping to dispose of the mice at a different area on my property have 14 acreas. Well everyday have caught mice but some reason they are dead, not sure why since I am checking everyday but am so happy this is working. Just wanted to share my idea, if anyone else is having issues with mice. Mine I have been catching are field mice, very small and round. Share your ideas as well that have worked for you, managing mice.

sorry so many pictures, I am not sure why this happened. I also want to mention,. In the chicken run there was a mouse hanging from the roof which is heavy wire 1/4 inch opening managed to put head and body thru the wiring very amazing but couldn't get back legs thru. I wish I took a picture to show how they can get thru in such small area.

Thanks for posting the pics - and so quickly! I get it now.

Gosh, that is the fanciest looking mouse-trap I've ever seen ~ and for a chicken coop too!

Lol, that's a fancy version of the bucket mouse trap. Been used for yrs in camps, barns ECT. Very effective in buildings that can't be checked often.

The weird part is I am catching mice without peanut butter lately. They seem to be drawn to it for some reason.
