Creating a "free" website- who would/did you choose to host??

I am looking into creating a small website for our farm, of course being a stay at home mom $$ is always the forefront... I know there are several hosting sites that offer free webs that you can create yourself. My question is who would or did you choose and why? Good or bad experiences when creating your own?? Just trying to be prepared before making that decision.

I went online and found webs and I checked out the design and I went with the webs FREE site. I have not had any bad experiences with it at all. I love it. It works for me.

I did mine with Google sites
