You could just link the google sheet directly in your article, then there will be less steps to view it.

What I originally have is an .ods file made with openoffice calc. I've never done a google spreadsheet or even know if it is the same thing. Does that just upload into the google format or something?

You could try uploading it to Google Drive, if it won't open as a google sheet as the .ods file, convert it to an excel file, and then upload it. Once it's uploaded as a google sheet, you should be able to generate a sharing link, where anyone who has the link can view it, but not edit it.

Ok thanks. I got it to upload to google sheets but it isn't displaying properly for some reason.

Ok I got the google sheets to pan out. I also included the .ods file in an attachement along with an .htm file so there shouldn't be anyone that can't access the information. Thanks guys.
