The eggs are great for making breads and cakes!
And I hear the drakes taste like a sirloin steak. Have not tried that, ... Yet.

Ooh. Are you going to? I won't eat mine, but I could go ask the neighbor to ready me a bird to roast. I don't know though, if I could follow through.

If you don't want babies i would keep only girls.

Or just swipe the eggs the day they are laid.
With ducks as another poster stated, if you keep only females, they will mate each other and then one will think they are top duck which results in duck fights.

Our ducks are actually trained to go in at a certain time and come to a call.The muscovies didn’t catch the memo because it wasn’t taught to them well.The ducks I currently have also didn’t,they aren’t nearly as bad as the muscovies.I miss my Pekins,khakis and runners the most,they listened well and always taught the ducklings how to come up at night and all the good water places.

Mine are learning. They are pretty smart. At first they kept putting themselves to bed, but for the last month, I have had to herd them in. I don't blame them, some of the night time weather is so much nicer than the day time. I would rather be outside too.

Not yet. I only have 4 total muscovys
I am thinking future I may like to breed them and Silkie chickens. But if you breed you have to have a plan B for drakelings and cockerels with bad or unwanted traits as well as others. Can't have funerals for them all, I don't have that kind of space.
