well, in one of my science classes we had to do a lab were the light had to be turned on and off, so my friends started to make fun of me calling me clickie lol. No one calls me it anymore, but I use it as my screennames, etc. lol I was going to use shanaynay, thats what my friend calls me but decided to go with clickie lol. i have random nicknames.

I had a business relationship with a very snobby elderly man who refered to himself as "the maven." His use of the term meant he was calling himself an important, expert, wiseperson(!)

DH and I thought this was soooo ridiculous & funny. Who calls themself a term like that?

So I started calling MYSELF "the maven" in a self-depreciating way, like when a woman calls herself a "Diva" after mucking out stalls... So, now I am the "Chicken Maven." It's kind of like, "yeah, right!"

I always thought "maven" was a female only term? At least I've only known it to be applied to women.

When I married my hubby, he had a long hair cat named Tribble, so your parents could've come up with worse.

I call everyone at work Goobers. Then I became the queen of "Gooberville". You would need to meet all the women I work with you would understand the gooberness of it all!! Two women are hard of hearing, you never know where a conversation will end. Another lady ignores you 70 % of the time, she is the one you have to go to with your questions.... That is why I am Goob Hen... (as someone else mentioned, I am too old to be a chick anymore, though my DH thinks I am still a chick, got to love him!!)
