This is a trio of Crele Old English Bantams I use to have. I raised Crele OE bantams for about 5 years and used them to work on creating Crele OE Large Fowl. I have been developing the LF Crele for about 5 years.
I got my start on Crele Bantams from Jake Lail, whose is one of the premier breeders of Crele OE in the US. He routinely crosses BB Reds into them to keep their dark color.
Intermediates are colored like BB Reds, with only the Red barred, not the breast or the tail. I wish I had taken some pictures of them they are very striking.

Below is a picture of one of my Crele LF Cockerels. He is still a little young and still has a ways to go on his color. I worked on Type and Size first.

Just goes to show you that I don't know much. Never realised there was a large fowl with the crele coloration. Sure looks nice! I especially like the photo of the crele Polish in the earlier post. would love to see some better photos of those.

Blackred, how would one go about getting in touch with Jake Lail?

Got mine from Brian Saffles Bsaffles on the forum. Got eggs from him that hatched out and they are turning beautiful. just wish the dogs didn't eat the hen for dinner.
