Crele Polish Hatching eggs / Large Fowl - includes shipping

$80 for 12 eggs
Will ship extra if available

I do not ship chicks. Sorry.

We perhaps have the only pure Crele Polish breeding flock in the United states. We purchased the Original eggs from a breeder in 2009 who got his birds directly from Doug Kamer, developer of the Crele Polish variety. (See Polish Breed Club for more info)

I have been working diligently for the past 7 years to breed the best birds both to the standard (type) and color pattern.

When I acquired the line, we had an extremely high cull rate (our culls were sold as pets - we DO NOT believe in killing birds simply because they do not make our cut as breeders).

The birds we considered culls were either birds whose bodies did not meet the breed standard or birds that did not have the Crele color pattern. The first year, we hatched 300 birds to ultimately pick 7 as breeders. We have done this practice from year to year, hatching high numbers and selecting only the best birds as breeders.

Our line now consists of 90% of our birds hatching with the color pattern. We occasional get Partridge and Gold Laced chicks hatch. We have NEVER!! bred in Tolbunt, cuckoo, buff laced or any other variety into our line. Our line of birds are direct dependents of Doug Kamer's birds with no outside lines.

Our Crele line is still a project as true Creles are auto-sexed (meaning able to tell sex at birth). We are currently working on creating an auto-sexed line in which our line is approx. 70% Auto-Sexing. Boys hatch out light, Girls hatch out dark. See last photo to see examples of a boy and a girl.

We tag our chicks when they are born and only use the females that were obviously girls when hatched and males that were obviously males when they hatched. We sell the ambiguous birds as pets. The result for this type of gender selection has brought us closer to developing an auto-sexed line where the boys and the girls can be determined when they hatch. We still have work to do on this benefit but have made great progress. Currently, we find that 60% of our offspring are auto-sexed.

If you purchase our eggs, we request that you mark your chicks when they hatch depending on color. (Light chicks = boys) (Brown Chicks =girls) and record the % that developed true to gender, and report back to us. We are eager to determine what % is sex-linked this generation 2016.

Hatch Guarantee:
We do not offer any Hatch Guarantee. Shipped eggs is a risk due to weather, and USPS handling. We have a near 100% fertility rate, and 90% on-site hatch rate so we know our eggs are viable.

Hello,
Is it $50 for a dozen?
Shipping price(included)?
Are these large fowl?
Do you have any other color polish available?
Thanks for questions. I updated ad to make it clearer.

Yes, they are large fowl. No, I don't raise any other colors.

Eggs are $50 per dozen, plus shipping $15.80 to most areas.

I just wanted to say that I got some of these eggs and had a great hatch. To me that means great fertility great packaging and good nutrition. I had loose air cells and they still did well. I'm so happy I ordered again.

Thank you for the feedback!!! Thrilled you had a great hatch.

Just picked up my eggs from the PO. Phenomenal packaging! Eggs are perfect! Only 2 days from California to Wisconsin. I'm very impressed! I can't wait to hatch me some babies :)
