The polish eggs ship and hatch pretty well. Most people are reporting back with hatching 12-14 eggs from the 16 shipped. This % may go down in the hotter months. I wrap summer eggs in foil which helps with the heat. Eggs within California usually get there in 1-2 days.

I do have an incubator. But ive heard mixed reviews on it. Ill talk to my mom and see what she thinks. I just love polish chickes.

What type of incubator do you have? I had terrible luck with a still air incubator. The chicks that hatched had all kinds of problems. I now have a genesis that works great. Broody hens are the best, but you have to be careful with that too, since your other birds can kill the chicks. Do you have a place to keep mom and the babies separated from your other chickens for awhile?
