Crest on my 3 week old white crested is GONE

Yesterday when I got home to play with my chickens and ducks I noticed that one of my 3 week old White Crested Duck's crest is missing. It WAS there previously but now there's no crest at all! Anyone have this happen? What could be the cause of this? I've got 6 adult chickens, 5 (5 week old) Saxony Ducks and my 3 (3 week old) white crested ducks together in the chicken coop and they've all gotten along great together. It doesn't look like it's been fighting with anything it's just totally gone.

I'll try to upload a couple pics of my ducks that I just took yesterday. My Saxony's are now 5 weeks old and getting their color...I think I have 4 females and 1 male and my 3 White Crested's are 3 weeks old now and still fuzzy.











It's the one in the back...I didn't take a picture of the top of it's head although I should have. He was just done playing so his back is a little dirty yet.

Doesn't look like there is a wound there or anything like it. Doesn't the crest form because the skull is open there? maybe it just closed up. They are all very pretty by the way.
