Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have some chicks that are about 6 or 8 weeks old. Crests have come in nice and fluffy. The other chicks I have in with them are starting to show combs that are bright red or small and pink. Is there anyway to figure out what gender a crested chicken is?
