I have a white Crested duck, I think it's a girl, I bought her in April and she's full grown, but no drake feather yet.
Anyway, she is with a female Campbell and our 4 chickens. All bought together as babies. They always seemed to get along famously, until I noticed my crested has a quarter size bald spot on the top of her crest. It was smaller yesterday, but today looks like it has been pecked more. I think maybe my Campbell is doing it, but I'm not sure. I was wondering of there was something I could put on it (ointment, non-tox spray) to keep the other duck or chickens from pecking. Maybe something that tastes bad or something. Her skin isn't broken, but still I'm worried about it getting worse.
It's weird she'd let herself get pecked on when she's the biggest bird in there!! Thanks for any help!
