Houdans were made to lay eggs

My LF polish were very good layers. I had WCBlack hens that would lay on a daily basis, decent sized white eggs. Also had a few bantam hens that were great layers, but have found that the LF lay better than the bantams as far as polish are concerned...

You've gotta get your hubby some polish!! How can you not want these awesome birds in your flock??

I was told that the

Brabanter & appenzellers Lay like crazy.

My polish lay a pretty good amount of eggs, for being bantams I get from each hen, 1 egg every day - every other day that is in bantam polish .
I am sure that the standard size polish lay eggs like crazy. thats what i am told anyways.

i'm getting at least 3 silkie eggs each day, somedays i get as much as 6 eggs from my silkies. We get more silkie eggs then we do standard eggs, Eg i have 3 silkies that lay everyday where sometimes the standards will only lay every other day. 1 of the light sussex has gone broody so we don't get eggs from her and the other light sussex hasn't laid in 2 days. The only standard chicken that is laying an egg is the buff orpington.
