I got 2 of these today. I have them in a separate pen for now then I'll put em in the coop with the others after dark. I am really enjoying keeping chickens. I sit on the back step with a cuppa and watch them scratch on the compost heap, really chills me out.

Cool. Chickens are pretty awesome. Just a little bit of advice, though- if I were you I would keep them separate for 48 hours before introducing them, just to make sure they don't have any parasites, or diseases or anything.

Sound advice, I'm learning as I go

Since I started keeping chickens, my compost bins are filling up nicely and the slugs are getting slaughtered
