Surprise Arizona
I have a Polish rooster that I just can not keep and would rather not make soup out of him. After all he was once my baby :-(

He was once my favorite chicken. I hand raised him but somewhere along the line his hormones changed him into a Ninja jumping attack rooster. LOL It was funny at firs but it is no longer funny. He just will not stop. He attacks anything that walks past him and he stressed my hens out so bad that they just quit laying eggs so this guy must go. He is a pretty fella but I need peaceful roosters here. My grand children are around the chickens to much to allow this guy to run free. I hate caging him up so I am looking for someone that might want to give him a home. If you like sparing with your chicken then this is the guy for you. My husband has had a lot of fun playing ninja chicken with him when we realized he just would not stop.
I will try to get some better pictures of him.
I am in Surprise Arizona and am willing to give him away free if someone out there would be interested in rescuing this lovely rooster from the pot.

have you tried giving him a haircut? polish are skittish because they cant see well. it may be the same reason he is attacking. i dont blame you for not wanting him around the kids but if you wanted to give it another nother try, it might work. btw, is your town really called surprise?

LOL Yep Surprise Arizona. I guess it was a surprise that anyone lives out here ;-)

I'm afraid that won't help. He can see very well who and what he is charging after. It makes no difference to him. He is just a Ninja chicken.

now your just rubbing it in !! couple inches so far. still coming down. its is supposed to get -10 here some time this week, its never been that cold here. why dont you just come on down and you can bring elvis with you ??have to get him a fur coat though. lol

Yeah I guess I was rubbing it in a little ;-) You just stay warm and stay safe. Make sure you have plenty of non perishables and plenty of warm blankets. There have been plenty blackouts because of the ice breaking the lines.
And don't worry you will get your chance to rub it in when it is 120 degrees here and beautiful where you are.
