Crevecoeur?

[Chicken Chicken Love]

I'm 99% sure my chick is a Crevecoeur!! Does anyone have experience with them?? Why my chick is not growing like a large fowl chicken?? Any special things I should know about them, Ex: how to sex them, etc... [ any ideas on sex, the chicks almost 7 weeks old, I know it is probably to young!!]

Mine have the two visible horns at 3 weeks. There's very little information about Crèves, especially photos, unless you want to visit French sites.

So you have some Crevecoeur's?? Also do you mean the comb horns or something else??
If you mean the horn comb then why hasn't mine grown any comb yet??

Where did you get the bird? I think there needs to be comb horns, so maybe it's another crested chicken--?

I got it from an assorted crested bin at a Mannings feed and seed near me. Also, I found out which hatchery the place we got her from had gotten their crested chicks and the Crevecoeur is the only black-crested chick they breed!

Yeah, I'd think she's a pullet, then. They are sweet babies!
