Hi! Looking for some feedback about these chicks. One of them is Crevecouer x Crevecouer.

The other one is lavender Orpington x Crested Cream Legbar.

The c X c are not in contact with the other chickens and the egg was white.

The LO x CCL hatched from a blue egg. CCLs are our only blue layers.

They are six weeks old.

Thanks!

What are you trying to figure out?

They are cute chicks.

The one with the bigger crest is the pure Crevecoeur and the one with a smaller crest is the CCL-cross.

The CCL-cross is female, because a male would have white barring. (Sex-linked cross of barred Crested Cream Legbar female and not-barred Lavender Orpington male.)

I do not have any guesses on the gender of the Crevecoeur.

Thank you so much. You exactly answered what I was hoping for which would be which was the crevecouer! That was what I thought as well so it’s great to have some feedback.
