My 5 week ago gals are getting use to their new digs and noticed this evening they were all crammed up near the opened auto door. I have the door opened with chicken wire blocking them from going out since I'm in the process of completing the run and ramp. I couldn't get them to budge from the door even when I entered the coop and called them.
When I went outside to the outside of the wired closed door, I saw something weird. One of the SLW's head was poking out of the chicken wire holes and stuck! All of the girls were gathered amount her like they were supporting her in her dilemma! Luckily I was able to assist her head (reversed) backwards and released her from the ire. I gotta get the run done this weekend!
