Pebble swam up to Brick. "Hey you!" He called up to her. "What was the meeting about? I was at the bottom of the pond when King Humphrey called us so I couldn't hear! What did he say?" His tail tip quivered in anticipation.

"Oh! You scared me." Brick glowered at Pebble. "He said that there is a rumor that the.....um, I forget the tribe name. 'Rock', maybe? Well anyway, he said they might be planning an attack so he needs someone to go and see what's happening. We have until midnight to apply. If the one who goes succeeds he -or she- will be moved to "honor frog". Brick stopped and almost choked.

"Whoa!" Pebble squealed. "I volunteer then! I want to see the Rock Tribe frogs! My friends say that they're as big as hawks--and just as dangerous!"

"Naaa, they couldn't be that big." Replied Brick. "Your sure you want to go? You're just a pollywog."
