I will work until the last min. I've been to busy juggling bators to hook this week. DD has a soccer game out of town, so I'll hook in the car on the way there and at the game and on the way home again. I might even get a little hookin done at the hotel to.

I'm sad that this is coming to an end.

It's been soooooo much fun.

Arlee that is such a wonderful cause. I'm sorry that I don't know how to do hats, but I'll check it out. I've been wanting to learn how to do them for a while.

Yay!

Scrambled - my squares are on their way to ya!!

Arlee, I have one of those knifty knitter things that makes excellent hats!! You accept hats all the time?

I spent some time organizing for project Linus when we lived out West. There's no real chapter around here I've been able to get involved in, so I'll try to send some stuff out your way!!

I'll be off here for most of the weekend...my gramma is having her surprize 80th birthday party Saturday at 11 am and I've got a sheet cake to finish. All of her 12 kids and then some are going to be there!! Then Saturday, in the evening, I've got to start getting stuff together for our Spaghetti dinner fundraiser for my non-profit we're having Sunday!!!!

Congratulations on those blue splash banty orps. They sound lovely. Can't wait to see pics. Yes, I have 2 buff orps. They are so cute, but really hyper. I tried to post, but couldn't transfer the pic from photobucket, but I'll try again.

My order also came into Rural King from Cackle Hatchery of 5 EE, so I had to take a 45 min drive yest to go pick them up. It took up my whole afternoon driving there and driving back, but was soooo worth it. Hope they give me pretty eggs. I have 5 EE now that are 1 yrs old and only 4 of them lay green eggs. The new babies are soooooo cute & sweet. I just love the little chipmunk faces. I promise to post pics soon. I'm waiting on Banty Ameraucanas in the bator, but I have a feeling that they aren't going to hatch.

I have some blue standard Ameraucanas in the new incubator and they looked really good last time I candled them.

Hey that knitter kit sounds cool. I think I need one.

Everyone sounds soooo busy.

Nifty knitter hats are great as long as they fall in the right size category - we just can't use anything larger than 6" for the most part, unless in white then we can go up to 7"

Thanks!!!!!

I have all the sizes, from 2 inches up to 9 inches. Plus the square ones that make panels, blankets and scarves. I can crank out 2 or 3 hats in an evening. I'll have to pull out some of my stored ones and see what the brims measure.

My non-profit collects "chemo caps" every now and again from the local church ladies and take them down to Children's. They are always so grateful. We do crayon runs and other sorts of things towards Christmas.

My husband and I lost a child to cancer 4 years ago. I keep myself busy, busy, busy. I don't usually have the strength to deal with it, and working with my non-profit and helping other parents and sick kids, well it helps me heal a bit, you know?

I'll do what I can.
