You can still sign up through Wednesday if anyone else is interested, happy to have you. Again, make at least 20 squares of the same pattern/style but use whatever colors you like. If you want to make extra that will be really great, alot of people are so that we will not have make so much border around our squares in order to make a big enough afghan...so yes, if you can, make as many as you want. When I have everyone's squares, I will count them and divide them evenly between the number of participants and send the new distribution back to you in you SASE. Then you can join them into and afghan or something like that great looking bag Jacie posted...got to have that pattern if you have one, lol!!...or into a pillow or rug or whatever you want to do with them. You will have BYC memories to make into something, lol!!

I don't have a pattern. I don't think she ever used patterns but I can tell you it's 4 squares down each side. 4 on the bottom and 12 on each side and the handle is single crocheted about 3" wide and then lined.

After making the one that was oversized I tightened up my yarn and made two of them. Stayed up way too late, but got two done, three if you count the oversized one. Now I will have to come up with different yarn so I can switch out my colors. Thanks for all the encouragement you all gave me. Now I'd better get to work on them.

Now that you have the hang of it you wont have any trouble crankin out those squares!!! What you don't know is that we never doubted for a minute that you would figure it out!! Glad you stuck with it!!!!

I new if I could make a ripple afghan I could do the granny square, but I didn't have much of a picture to go by. I'm glad I didn't give up on it. I am downloading a picture of the three I got done lastnight. One won't count but that's ok, it'll make a good coaster or something like that. When it gets done downloading I'll post it for all of you to see.

Thanks for all the support! I really appreciate it everyone.

Can I still sign up? My physical therapist said to crochet a lot to build strength in my arm (oh darn, therapy is HORRIBLE

When are they due, b/c if I am getting a late start I may not be able to get 20 done in time?
