Shelly I could not believe that happened to you!!! OMG!! We need a Chicken Patrol to hunt that sorry somebody down...I cannot get over that. I'm so sorry, glad you weren't hurt any worse but I feel just terrible about you laying there hurting and people driving by...what is wrong with this world????? We have to help each other, it's our job in this world. I just hate that, so sorry....................................................................................................................................what's a girl to do, just hookin away and gets run down in a drive by...holy cow...even hookers aren't safe anymore..............

You know, DH already thinks we're all crazy chicken people. If he's this thread his going to think we're certifiable!!

For some reason the word "arrestable" came to mind rather than certifiable, lol!!!

Thief...you can only play hooky if you are hooking, lol!!!!!!!!

I just love this group!!!!! Happy Hookers make great friends!!....glad no one joined this group named "john" or we would sure have to tone down our hookin, lol!!!!!!!

Keep on crankin 'em out ya'll!!!! Great job!! Glad to hear from wegot and gina and some of you that are less chatty!!

Shelly, that is awful to hear what happened to you, glad things weren't worse.

Do any of you using varigated yarn find your squares more loose than single colored yarn?????? Another question, if I finished the corner where I should my square is a 1/2 inch short, does it matter where I finish????

Shelly, Im up to 37 squares here. I can make up what you need to send in for you if Youd like. Im sure you wont be "hookin" for awhile with a cast on!

Ask that again a different way, I didn't quite understand it, sorry!

. I am trying really hard here, but, falling a little short. The way I am doing my squares I end at a corner, say I have five rows in my square, I end up a 1/2 inch short, or a half inch over, does that make any more sense????

JK, trying to hit 600 on my posts. Man crocheting gives me a headache and neck pain, I have Hypolordosis or something like that, not fun!!!!

I will be sending Scrambled an email.

Bailing out on you guys - I will send in what I have, no need to return any to me. I've managed about 13 or 14, my hands just can't handle the work right now. Perhaps my few can help out those who can't finish the total amount.

Great being involved. Stay safe, keep well and be good!

Hmmmmm, ominous sounding there Wildsky...not in the mood for hookin?! Let me know.....

Chicks Rule, you are hilarious and those squares are not a bit shoddy!!! I guess you are trying to explain that you either have to skip more than one open place or cram a group in next to the corner, I guess cramming would look less "off"..but maybe do less stitches in the group..does that make sense?! Here's an analogy....6 hookers standing on the corner...three more approach but have to decide whether to cram into the space beside the 6 or to leave a gap and back up and cram against the 3 hookers in the space behind them....hmmmm, gonna be alot of hookers in one place no matter whether they stand under the light or in the shadows behind them...probably be easier to skip a group in the middle of the road before you get to the corner, maybe less noticeable. That's clear as mud right?!!
