Scrambled, those stitch markers are the COOLEST!!!!! We will be the envy of every hooker wishing they had cute, fancy, colorful stitch markers like us. I didn't even know stitch markers even existed until I joined this swap. I've only seen plain ole plastic ones in the store, so ours are very special.

I would also like to try provided that the time fraim works for me. I work and have two little kids. But if it is enough time I can do some simple squares. I have lots of yarn setting around and I like do do this while I watch my evening movies when the kids sleep.

hey scrambled I see you haven't recived my square just yet but they should be arriving just any day now.

Hi binkey, I know what you mean about time, I have a job and two kids also, but I did a dc back and forth across for my 20+ square and then sent them now I am working on extras to help those who can't get done in time and I decided i would try different patterns for these since I had all my 20 done. You might try that. I even taught my 2yr old how to hook!

Jacie I love the pic. It just so happens I am reading that book at this very moment! lol

Laura, Walmart has several "kits" with book and hook and you can teach yourself in no time, really easy, plus look back through this thread and bookmark all the sites we've listed for references ..some have actual videos showing the stitch demonstration..really easy..you will be "hooked" on "hookin" in no time, loL!!!!!

No, didn't get yours yet Jessica, maybe today, mail has not come yet...home doing taxes today and happy to have those finished ..not a fun job sorting and organizing receipts and bills.....yuck!! anyway, all done..now the tax lady can work her magic..hopefully!!

Yeah, I have some of those plastic stitch markers too, bought a pack of those to hook your list onto your squares, lol!!..so yeah, you get one of those too..just a little plastic open and closing ring but I thought I would hole punch the corner of the list and hook it that way to your squares. I'll run a piece of yarn through your squares and tie them so they will stay together and you can match the order to your list. I have some really nice completed squares already from the folks that sent them in early..should be some pretty stuff made out of them!!!! Happy Hookin!!!!
