Kim what kind of chickies are you trying to hatch?

And jukebox what you got?

Im working on some bantam blue cochins and some bantam blue orps but I am a novice so who knows?

Kim's got BO's right now and is expecting banty Ameracaunas. (I did get that right, right? I feel like I've forgotten someone...)

I have a real mixed bag... so far:
5 Ameraucanas, including one with a naked neck
1 Blue Orp
1 White Silkie (fragile, may not make it)

I have another Blue Orp pipping and a banty Silver Spangled Hamburg. Another white Silkie has barely pipped and been laying there that way for HOURS now.

tiki, I'm a novice too. And it really is a WILD RIDE!!!

Yes I havent had good LUCK in the past so i am crossing my fingers. Are your blue orps LF or banty? Well you will have some nice ameraucanas. congrats!

Kim!! Have fun joinin the mile high club!!..oh and the ski trip too!! I let my son with the secret devil horns talk me into going on the lift to the top of the mountain Christmas before last..it took me forever to get down that mountain on my butt, lol!!! Good luck!!

Sorry I haven't been on....to busy following WEGOTCHICKEN's hatch. Very exciting!!!!!!!

"Mile High Club"....Haha!!!!! Ya'll are to funny. I think Coloardao will be the perfect atmopshere to get a little hookin done, but have to do a little skiing first. Ya'll cross your fingers that I don't break anything. I bet I will be soar. Thank goodness I've been working out. That ski lift scares me!!!!

WOW, that's alot. OOOh I can't wait to get 2. And my cute marker thingy. I haven't done any hookin lately.

Tiki my very first hatch was a total 100% flop. They were banty Ameraucanas. The P.O. Scrambled the insides, but of course I didn't know it until I candled. I left them in there and finally when there was no hope I gently sawed them open to take a peek inside and nothing developing, some air sacs busted, and some yolks scrambled.

My friends sis brought me 3 local BO eggs. They are on Day 12. One is a dancing embryo, the second has veining, but not sure if it's viable and third is clear.

Then I have replacement eggs that are on day 6 Banty Ameraucanas. I am expexting 8 standard Blue Ameraucanas today. OOOOOH P.O. just called....they are here!!!!! I'm bound to hatch something!!!!!

I have 32 viable Dominique eggs in the incubator, and 8 Cochin(or Cochin X Austrolorp) !! I can't wait for the Dom's, they are from my brother's flock...Hope he wants some back!!!

Got another square done, that makes 40... I don't think I can get a lot more done, but DH goes to the NASCAR race this weekend, and I am going along , taking a horse to trailride, so I will have some time just sitting when I am not riding.

Hi all I'am hatching too.

I hope everyone has good luck on their hatching this year. I so far have hatched 5 silkies 2 turkens, 3 opussum(GBF), 1 warhorse, 3 seramas (oh so tiny), and 1 RIR.

I have 6 more that have not piped or anything, but I thought I wouldn't have any more hatch out yesterday, but didn't have time to take the left over unhatched eggs out before work, and when I got home at 5:30 pm I found that 3 more of the eggs had hatched, so I guess I will wait till tomorrow night to take the last of the unhatched eggs out just to be on the safe side. It was such a nice surprise to come home to find 3 newly hatched chicks

I still have 7 more alternating sets to go one right after another and each set having about 24+ eggs in it so this is going to be a fun fun year for me.
