Ok its been a few sence I last hooked.

jeaucamom--beautiful!!!!! Very nice, love it, pretty as can be....now do 19 more at least, lol!!!! If Thief is actually gonna stick with that bullion stitch, which I discarded right away! ya'll picked some of the harder squares to do, so did Kim and Libby. Hope ya'll make it through the whole 20 with those difficult stitches...then if you do extra, relax and do the easy ones, haha! I swear I have a pile of about 11 that I can't use because they are sized wrong and trying to make them 6x6 doesn't work at all, lol!!. The two true 6x6 ones I have, I used a ruler with, duh, imagine that!! The problem, I've learned, is that I have mixed the skinnier Caron yarn with a little bit fatter 4 ply and it isnt really a problem unless I use the caron for the center start, then I am off a half inch on my size. Course those "v" stitch ones are off too, geez, I must have mis-measured the first one and then the others off it...can you say stoooopid! Live and learn and crochet alot! I must have made 40 afghans over the years just not a single one in grannies, imagine that!! Won't be able to say that again!! So, with all my redos and size mess-ups, my new count for completion, is officially 2!! I'm hoping it really does rain like crazy this weekend and our season opener for racing is pushed back one weekend, if so I will get alot done this weekend. We still need the rain anyway. Well, have a great day ya'll, support and help each other and stay outta trouble with all that hookin!!!! Otherwise find yourselves a nice bikini to wear for the paparazi!!! I had to forget the pattern I started with. My arthritis is acting up, so I went with a basic granny square pattern. I'm making squares for someone's husband. (don't know who, but my squares will be the "Masculine" colors.) Have a nice camo pattern going right now.

I am now at 10...and I have refound a loved past time. Thank you guys. With out this swap I would have not started up again. I have already picked out my next project.
