Crocheted Kitchen Towel thingy....

I love those kitchen hand towels that have the crocheted piece at the top so you can hang the towel over the oven door handle. Do you know what I mean? Do anyone here make them? Or sell them? OR have directions on how to make them?

Oh, I would love to know how to do those! I have two I got from somewhere and they are getting pretty dingy! I have also seen some that take a potholder that matches the towel and fold it in half and sew the folded edge to the towel and add a loop and a button.

Just another thing to add to my project list. It's longer than my arm now..............

Thanks for the links! I don't understand how you get the first chain on the towel with a crochet hook? I could be overthinking it and I am still a beginner at crochet.

You need to hand stitch a row across the top of the towel. Fold the top of the towel over first for a cleaner look.

I use my serger along the cut top of the towel. Then do the blanket stitch or use a very small crochet hook to put holes in the towel in order to do your first row of crochet along the top.
