Crock pot cooking HELP!!!!!

Have one, never used it! I want to make a beef stew but I have no idea where to start.

All the recipes I've found on line have no liquid added or, want you to use wine??? I don't get it

I got the cooked meat(left over grilled brisket), carrots, celery, potatos, onion, spices....what do I do?????

It has a recipe for Old Time Beef Stew. It does mention using 2 cups of beef broth or bouillon. Hope that helps ya!

I just use some beef broth, since your meat is already cooked you don't have the "juice" from it to cook the rest in. If I don't have beef broth I use water and add the beef flavoring then add the veggies and cook until they are done, and add some seasoning-salt, pepper, bay leave whatever you prefer.

Just start looking up recipes on the interntet - something like "slow cooker beef stew" or "crock pot beef stew" you will find tons of great ideas.

Good luck you are going to love your crock pot...It is the simplest thing I love mine I make pinapple upside down cake in it. It is perfect very moist...If you go to any thrift store they always have cook books....

One thing to do is to brown your meat first as it is more flavorful that way beef or chicken .
