I just got some bantam Rhode Island reds forma very nice ol' guy, and he told me that the long croocked toe nails were ok. I think I need to trim them (Over time of course) to get them normal looking, but he said I din't need to. I want to take them to a show, and just have them look good over all.
To trim or not to trim, that is the question.

I will try and get more toe pictures later. Right now it is muddy and nasty out and they have been playing in the mud.

That's what I though!!

He did say they had never been outside. Well, they have now! They dind't know what to do with them selves. They didn't really have a dust bath, As we have mud and grass right now, but they were so happy to have grass and be able to walk around semi freely. I will let them out with the rest of the flock next week after they get use to it here.

OK, then a gradual dremilling they will get. Good to know.
