Hi, I've got a 15 week old hen with a twisted neck. I first noticed the problem about 5 weeks ago. Her head and neck are contorted at a gruesome angle most of the time, she usually just kind of stands or sits with her head on the ground, sideways. I thought that crook neck was a problem for chicks, does it persist into adulthood? Would it be humane to put her down? I feel like regardless of what she's suffering from, her quality of life seems pretty poor at this point. She spooks easily, can't seem to roost too well, never leaves the coop, and generally has difficulty moving around. Any thoughts on this? I'll post a picture later. Thanks.
