Hey guys. This little guy is about 6 weeks old and had a crooked neck. He was born with it but much worse. Kept his head towards the ground and just drug his beak. I fixed him with poly vi sol but this was about the best it got. Maybe a little straighter but the older he gets it seems like he is actually leaning more sideways and has to use a little more effort getting up after laying down. Should i have kept the poly vi sol up and he would have corrected completely. If i start it again can it be corrected. He was larger compared to the other from eggs of similar size as his. So could he have just been a little tight in there. Hes a smooth showgirl. You might be able to see a scab on his back. He was getting attacked so hes in the broader.

Since he hatched with a crooked neck, I would suspect it's genetic or it could be from improper incubation.

There's no way to know if he will improve more if you start vitamin therapy again. Might be worth a try to see what happens.
Since you don't know the cause, if you are doing any breeding, I would exclude him from the gene pool. Nice pet, sure. Breeder, no.

Try 400IU Vitamin E along with 1/4 tablet human B-Complex daily for a week, see if that helps. Also give him some egg or tuna daily for the uptake of E.
