crooked toe on chick

My lil d'uccle has a toe that crosses under the big toe and it looks like that is the way it is going to stay. It walks fine but the feathers are also growing crossed under. i was just wonder if it is going to be an issue as he/she grows?? Is there anything to do for it??

I was just reading on another website that you can straighten it by putting some sort of plaster ("band aid") on, while you straightening the toe and leaving for a week. Here is the website that mentions this.

I don't know, since I'ver never had to do it- yet. *knocks wood*

Situations like this, I just try it, see what happens and adjust as needed. Wing it!
