Crooked Toes

I have an 8-week old Speckled Sussex who's left outside toe is rotated 90 degress so the "claw" faces backwards instead of down.  She eats, perches, flys and lands just fine.   She's a sweetie and seems not even to notice.  I'm leaving mine alone as she's happy, healthy and getting along fine  and I'm guessing that yours will be o.k. as well.  Good luck with her.
I also have a seven week old speckled susexx named Paprika and she seems to be getting around fine. I had my friend over today and she noticed the toe that was crooked to the side. It freaked me out and i just wanna know if it is a big problem that means i need to see a vet. She gets around fine but when i touch it softly she starts to squirm.

May I ask a quick question here? If not please move me to the appropriate place.

I just had some chicks hatch under a broody momma. Thought the one chick had splayed leg but am thinking now it walks that way because of a crooked toe. Can I fix it a shoe for that foot/toe and keep it with momma and 2 siblings? Or do I have to keep it separate? Trying to prevent possible splayed leg because of that one toe. The rest of that foot and the other look ok.

It's 2 days old.

UPDATE:

Since last night the toe has straightened out. I was still concerned with the spread between its feet. Over the day it appears the right leg is pulling in. Prayer works...
