Crookie Monster and Right Turn

My poor little Right Turn's eating on his own but his neck is definitely perma-crooked. Right on Right Turn keep it going!!!

He's eating his own now, and he's getting around okay.

I feel so bad for our little guys! I keep thinking about Right Turns life span and wondering how long he will make it with his neck being the way it is...because im almost positive its not going to straighten up to the point that he can turn left lol. He eats alot and sleeps alot but im sure that because he dizzy after right turning around the food dish while he eats.

In this pic Right Turn is doing what Right Turn does...I feel like he's suffering by the look of him but he seems happy and he eats and drinks good. Hes such a sweetheart to, I hold him and he nuzzles his little head under my chin

do you think they have a chance of living a normal pea life like this? Did your very cute and good neck brace you made help him out any? Because Right Turns neck is like solid in a S shape and when he first hatched it was flexible.

Crookie Monster (NASCAR) lol!!!! In Nascar they only make left turns hahaha Crookie neck is going left all the while right turns right. Life will straighten out kids.

I haven't decided if mine can lead a happy life.

Hey Kathy I just wanted to check in and see how Crookie Monster is holding up:) Right Turn isnt growing as fast as the rest but hes still eating and doing good, last night I seen him cleaning his feathers on his left side so its good to know he has the ability to turn his head the opposite way. It looked painful to me lol!

Bad news... Yesterday I made the decision to have the vet euthanize Crookie Monster. His neck had worsened to the point where his head and neck rotated 360 degrees. He was having trouble eating, drinking and walking, so I decided it was time. I will take some pictures of his neck, but I will post them in another thread since I can't change the title of this one to warn people of disturbing pictures.

I know you really gave the little guy your all and you must be really attached to him by now.
A hard decision to make.
