Crop help needed!

One of my hens has something going on with her crop... It's very large and hard and off to one side (the right) rather than centered. Her behavior is normal and she eats/drinks fine. Her poo is normal, she free ranges all day and I haven't found any out of the ordinary poo in the coop/run/yard.

I checked the other 5 girls and their crops are fine.

Any ideas what this could be? I can post pics tomorrow if needed, it's too dark to get pics tonight.

If she's acting fine I wouldn't be concerned just yet... Check her in the morning before feeding them anything. Their crops should be empty. Let us know!

a full crop is usually to the right, that's normal, just check to see that the crop does go down over night, if not and she seems ill or a bad smell coming from her mouth, then you can massage the crop several times a day, give her olive oil and I believe apple cidar vinegar to help dissolve the stuff

Hello, butterflygrooves. How is your chicken doing today, and how was her crop before she ate this morning? If it emptied over night and was not enlarged this morning, then I'd agree that she does not have a problem. Please let us know!

Thanks everyone! I checked this morning and it was gone. I had never noticed it large like that before, good to know it's normal.
