Don't know if I should do something....crop massage for the second time, definitely getting stuff out but then she aspirated it,(comb lost color for a minute, scared me) She's now resting but with a rattliness in her breathing like there's still something caught in her windpipe. Do I wait it out or continue trying to get stuff up? thx!

That's scary, poor thing! I had the same thing and just kept her inside for a couple weeks until she was eating and drinking fine again. Her lungs seemed to recover with no problem. I knew I had the crop empty but she'd definitely aspirated. Kept us awake coughing all night! She did just fine for several more months until her crop clogged again and I said no way was I going through that again and she obviously was miserable so we culled her.

No advice, but I'm sure someone will have something useful to say

Not a whole lot you can do at this point. If it wasn't too much she'll probably recover on her own. That can take time, so be patient. As much as a few weeks could go by before the rattles disappear completely. If it was too much complications will arise soon enough but even then, not a lot you can do.

Give her supportive care -- warmth, quiet, comfort, immune boosters if desired -- and hope for the best.

I'm still wondering if I should continue to try to expell what's in the crop,? she has pooped and it looked quite normal...
